Living at Désirée - where it all began

It was here, in Via Otto-Huber, that Zenzi Glatt fulfilled her dream of owning her own hotel back in 1948. A tireless and enterprising woman, she later opened two more hotels alongside her daughter Irmgard Glatt-Amort and her granddaughter Sissi Amort-Ellmenreich: the 5-star Hotel Mignon Meran Park & Spa, a luxurious hideaway dedicated to relaxation and well-being, and the 4-star cult Hotel Adria, an Art Nouveau jewel for true adventurers. What all three properties share is an incredibly quiet yet central location in the heart of Merano.
